to Sossusvlei – Travel to Kulala Wilderness camp
enjoying stunning mountain and desert views. The camp
is on the edge of the oldest desert in the world and enjoys
majestic Namibian sunsets. Sightings of animals such as
springbok, gemsbok, ostrich, bat-eared fox and aardwolf
are exciting in these rugged conditions. |
| Days 3 & 4: Swakopmund – Travel
via the craggy canyons and moon-like landscapes of Kuiseb
Canyon to Swakopmund, stopping to view the Welwitschia
plant, a living fossil. On day 2, explore the coast with
a private boat cruise from Walvis Bay, an opportunity
to see the diverse pelagic birdlife, Cape fur seals and
rare Heavisides’s dolphines. Remainder of afternoon
at leisure to explore Swakopmund. Accommodation at the
Hansa Hotel. |
| Day 5: Damaraland-Travel up the Skeleton
Caost to the Cape Cross Seal colony(only if seals were
not seen at Walvis Bay) Then travel through the game rich
Ugab riverbed, past the Brandberg Mountains to Damaraland,
a land of stard desert beauty. Activities include explorations
on foot, mountain bike or 4x4 vehicles, viewing springbok,
gemsbok, ostrich and tracking the unique desert elephant.

| Days 6 & 7: Palmwag Rhino Camp,
Damaraland-Drive into the Huab riverbed to search for
desert elephants before heading to the mountainous and
rocky paradise of Palmwag, supporting desert rhino, elephant,
the rare Hartmann’s mountain zebra, giraffe, gemsbok,
springbok and kudu, lion, cheetahm leopard, brown and
spotted hyena. On the second day, the highlight is rhino
tracking on foot or vehicle, other activities include

| Days 8 & 9: Etosha National Park-Depart
to Etosha National Park,viewing wildlife along the way.
Activities at Etosha inlcude day and night drives, walks
and hides. Etosha is a prime game viewing destination.

| Days 10, 11 & 12: Skeleton Coast
National Park-Enjoy a breathtaking scenic flight over
dramatic desert landscapes to the exclusive Skeleton Coast
Research Camp situated in a private concession in the
Skeleton Coast Park. This is one of the most inhospitable
but hauntingly beautiful places on the planet with roaring
sand dunes, windswept plains, towering canyons and salt
pans to seal colonies and shipwrecks.Full day explorations
in 4x4 landrovers take in all these sights as well as
a visit to the remote villages of the Himba people. |
| Day 13: Charter flight to Windhoek-We
arrive back in Windhoek at approximately 4.00pm |
